How about the "negative perceptions" of kuffar, living with allah's desire to cast terror into our hearts, and its orders to its slaves to behead us and maim us in our limbs (Sura 8:12), or to kill, convert, or extract protection money from us, and force us to live in subjection (Sura 9:29)?
I have no intention of submitting to allah or its false prophet, or paying protection money:
"Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." (Jesus Christ, the Son of God - Matthew 10:28)Living with negative perceptions of Islam

The panel, hosted in Wilfrid Laurier University’s Paul Martin Centre on Saturday evening, explored how societal changes impacted Muslim citizens after the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks.
A common theme amongst panellists was the recognition of the greater scrutiny faced by Muslims on a personal and professional level, a problem furthered by media-propelled stereotypes and coverage.
